Drug interaction between ACE inhibitors &volatile anaesthetics?

Offhand, I can't think of any interaction between the two. People taking ACE inhibitors for blood pressure have surgery involving anesthetics, including gas anesthetics, all the time, and there are no difficulties with it. Of course, if you are scheduled for surgery, you need to give the anesthesiologist or anesthetist a complete list of all your medications so they can be aware. Anesthesiologists really don't like surprises when they put people under. They'd really prefer that you come back out of the experience with your brain intact.
