Can U Program a hp psc 1350 all n one printer to your hp computer if you dont have the set up disc?

Was given hp 1350 printer and cant seem to sync with computer XP without the start-up disc that comes with purchase. Do I Need new printer or are there alternatives to the original set-up disc?
