Unemployment and misconduct?

I was let go from the school I worked for do to budget cuts. I have the letter to prove it. However, after applying for unemployment online I got a letter stating "I MAY have been let go do to MISCONDUCT and they need to do a phone interview." Another coworker got the same letter, but another coworker did not. I sure hope this is a technicality on unemployment's part! Is it! Do they usually do this? It's doented that I was let go do to budget cuts.
