What is the conflict in Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea?

Hey guys, any help would be great. I have a lot of conflicts in mind such as the battle with the giant squid, the men trying to escape and a few others. Could you please help me with the conflict and write a little bit for it please? Thanks in advance.
