How important are grades for Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc?

The national standard is a 2.5 and that is the minimum. You cannot partake in MIP or any other process until you are FORMELY invited to become a CANDIDATE for membership. The Rush process is what you should be concerned with in the beginning, that's the first step. I believe your current GPA is what is looked at but I am sure that other grades are considered in the process and decision making.
